Robert Dumitrescu was connected to our company between April 2004- and April 2005.
He applied for a position we had advertised.During the selection procedure,we made a decision to work with him because of this abilities and previous performance record.
He was going to be appointed as Managing Director for our company´s Romanian affiliate, with the task o setting up and managing the new company in Romania.

'Mr. ROBERT DUMITRESCU was employed by the INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH AND DESIGN IN MINING (S.C.-I.C.P.M.-S.A.) of BAIA MARE between July 07,1994 - May 17,1999, as mining engineer.
During his probation period he was part of the Mining Technology Laboratory team and was involved in the design of the environmental protection research works. He also becomes familiar with the mining particularities of the Maramures field.
Upon the completion of his probation stage Mr. Robert Dumitrescu was transferred to the CAD Computer Laboratory, of which function was to implement and supply computer solutions to the mining units and for the development of the Institute in-house activities.
He was responsible for the development of various research /design projects that required computer solutions.
His professional activity consisted of:
Drawing up of 2D and 3D underground and surface mining maps using AutoCad and Microstation - Intergraph software;
Use of Visual Fox Pro environment for calculation software in mining, including:
Database structuring and development
Development of user interface
Programming, application testing
Design and development of reports and graphs for printouts
Development of software installation kits
Development of Windows "Help" type assistance for the developed software using dedicated applications;
Development and editing complete research and design documentation using the Microsoft Office package;
Presentation of developed projects and various works at scientific symposiums using multimedia applications.
He acquired the knowledge in applied computer science by participating in in-house training courses as well as by self-study, showing permanent interest in and being receptive to new accomplishments in this field.
